A) Hi Lee I would suggest that the first thing you try and do is chop all the weeds and grass down, the best thing for this job is a brush cutter. Once you have done this I suggest that you cover as much of it in cardboard as you can and then cover that with manure and top soil, once you have done this plant the whole allotment with potatoes, By this time next year you will have a weed free allotment and you will be able to grow much more.                                                                                             Many Thanx                                                                                 Aaron.C

A) Hi Lee a brush cutter is just basically a strimmer but is has a metal cutting disk instead of using line.
